Two problems one fix

Copenhagen have to major challenges at hand: insufficient bike parking and no protection of the street trees. On Nørrebros Runddel we asked the project manager if they had incorporated bike parking in the new design. The answer was no, but there would be benches. Hopefully they would keep the bikes away from the trunks.

On Kultorvet the newly planted and younger ginkgo trees have a much more vulnerable bark. No bike parking or trunk protection here either. With catastrophic consequences.

In the city of Aarhus, they have a different approach, combining bike parking and tree protection in one brilliant solution.

Perfect round racks. They are out there, all we need to do is mount them. Let's go!
